According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 623,293 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as hispanic or latino in Connecticut, which was 17.29% of the total population of Connecticut.

Fairfield County had the highest number of of people who identified as hispanic or latino (205,351), followed by New Haven County (170,081), and Hartford County (166,275). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as hispanic or latino were: Tolland County (9,699), Middlesex County (11,928), and Windham County (14,459).
