United States Census 2020 Hispanic or Latino Population By State

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 62,080,044 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as hispanic or latino in the United States, which was 18.73% of the total US population. This number is the population from the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

California had the highest number of people who identified as hispanic or latino (15,579,652), followed by Texas (11,441,717), and Florida (5,697,240). On the other hand, the three states with low number of people who identified as hispanic or latino were: Vermont (15,504), Maine (26,609), and North Dakota (33,412).
