According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 887,685 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as hispanic or latino in Massachusetts, which was 12.63% of the total population of Massachusetts.

Essex County had the highest number of of people who identified as hispanic or latino (182,847), followed by Suffolk County (178,527), and Middlesex County (143,245). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as hispanic or latino were: Dukes County (534), Nantucket County (2,312), and Franklin County (3,592).
