According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 49,824 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as hispanic or latino in Alaska, which was 6.79% of the total population of Alaska.

Anchorage Municipality had the highest number of of people who identified as hispanic or latino (26,438), followed by Fairbanks North Star Borough (7,320), and Matanuska-Susitna Borough (5,244). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as hispanic or latino were: Kusilvak Census Area (14), Yakutat City and Borough (29), and Denali Borough (32).
