Anchorage Municipality was the most populated county (291,247), followed by Matanuska-Susitna Borough (107,081), and then Fairbanks North Star Borough (95,655). On the other hand, the 3 counties that were least populated include: Yakutat City and Borough (662), Bristol Bay Borough (844), and Skagway Municipality (1,240).
