According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 564,422 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as hispanic or latino in Michigan, which was 5.60% of the total population of Michigan.

Wayne County had the highest number of of people who identified as hispanic or latino (117,649), followed by Kent County (75,228), and Oakland County (60,838). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as hispanic or latino were: Keweenaw County (27), Ontonagon County (68), and Luce County (74).
