According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 322,549 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as hispanic or latino in Louisiana, which was 6.93% of the total population of Louisiana.

Jefferson Parish had the highest number of of people who identified as hispanic or latino (79,057), followed by Orleans Parish (31,017), and East Baton Rouge Parish (30,551). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as hispanic or latino were: Tensas Parish (67), East Carroll Parish (115), and Red River Parish (188).
