New Mexico Census 2020 Hispanic or Latino Population By County

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 1,010,811 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as hispanic or latino in New Mexico, which was 47.74% of the total population of New Mexico.

Bernalillo County had the highest number of of people who identified as hispanic or latino (329,481), followed by Doña Ana County (147,672), and Santa Fe County (74,377). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as hispanic or latino were: Harding County (282), Catron County (602), and De Baca County (654).
