According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 479,187 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as hispanic or latino in Tennessee, which was 6.93% of the total population of Tennessee.

Davidson County had the highest number of of people who identified as hispanic or latino (98,119), followed by Shelby County (77,707), and Rutherford County (38,317). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as hispanic or latino were: Hancock County (40), Van Buren County (83), and Pickett County (83).
