According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 729,745 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as hispanic or latino in Maryland, which was 11.81% of the total population of Maryland.

Montgomery County had the highest number of of people who identified as hispanic or latino (217,409), followed by Prince George's County (205,463), and Baltimore County (61,492). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as hispanic or latino were: Garrett County (321), Kent County (1,061), and Somerset County (1,075).
