According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 34,827 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as hispanic or latino in West Virginia, which was 1.94% of the total population of West Virginia.

Berkeley County had the highest number of of people who identified as hispanic or latino (6,893), followed by Jefferson County (4,137), and Monongalia County (3,308). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as hispanic or latino were: Wirt County (22), Calhoun County (48), and Webster County (50).
