According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 554,191 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as hispanic or latino in Indiana, which was 8.17% of the total population of Indiana.

Marion County had the highest number of of people who identified as hispanic or latino (129,286), followed by Lake County (99,927), and Elkhart County (39,594). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as hispanic or latino were: Union County (74), Ohio County (79), and Martin County (92).
