According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 45,199 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as hispanic or latino in Montana, which was 4.17% of the total population of Montana.

Yellowstone County had the highest number of of people who identified as hispanic or latino (10,115), followed by Missoula County (6,004), and Gallatin County (5,895). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as hispanic or latino were: Petroleum County (5), Carter County (11), and Liberty County (13).
