According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population, of people of all racial backgrounds in Maine who identified as hispanic or latino was 17,656; and represented 1.59% of the total Maine voting-age population.

Cumberland County had the highest hispanic or latino voting-age population (5,514), followed by York County (2,694), and Penobscot County (1,806). On the other hand, the three counties with low hispanic or latino voting-age population were: Piscataquis County (170), Franklin County (262), and Lincoln County (283).
