According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population, of people of all racial backgrounds in the United States who identified as hispanic or latino was 43,322,792; and represented 16.77% of the total US voting-age population. This number is the population from the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
California had the highest hispanic or latino voting-age population (11,083,294), followed by Texas (7,907,319), and Florida (4,332,685). On the other hand, the three states with low hispanic or latino voting-age population were: Vermont (11,113), Maine (17,656), and North Dakota (21,603).
