According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population, of people of all racial backgrounds in Louisiana who identified as hispanic or latino was 223,662; and represented 6.26% of the total Louisiana voting-age population.

Jefferson Parish had the highest hispanic or latino voting-age population (55,484), followed by Orleans Parish (23,156), and East Baton Rouge Parish (21,539). On the other hand, the three counties with low hispanic or latino voting-age population were: Tensas Parish (46), East Carroll Parish (80), and Red River Parish (113).
