According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the total Voting-age population (18 years and over) of Louisiana was 3,570,548, which was 76.66% of the total Louisiana population.

East Baton Rouge Parish had the highest voting-age population (355,612), followed by Jefferson Parish (344,654), and then Orleans Parish (306,196). On the other hand, the 3 counties with low voting-age population were: Tensas Parish (3,235), Cameron Parish (4,358), and Red River Parish (5,714).
