According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population, of people of all racial backgrounds in South Carolina who identified as hispanic or latino was 231,124; and represented 5.76% of the total South Carolina voting-age population.

Greenville County had the highest hispanic or latino voting-age population (38,369), followed by Charleston County (19,979), and Richland County (18,236). On the other hand, the three counties with low hispanic or latino voting-age population were: McCormick County (103), Bamberg County (104), and Allendale County (162).
