According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population, of people of all racial backgrounds in New Jersey who identified as hispanic or latino was 1,435,999; and represented 19.72% of the total New Jersey voting-age population.
Hudson County had the highest hispanic or latino voting-age population (225,167), followed by Passaic County (162,368), and Essex County (151,967). On the other hand, the three counties with low hispanic or latino voting-age population were: Salem County (4,108), Cape May County (4,731), and Hunterdon County (7,427).
