According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population, of people of all racial backgrounds in California who identified as hispanic or latino was 11,083,294; and represented 35.95% of the total California voting-age population.

Los Angeles County had the highest hispanic or latino voting-age population (3,562,733), followed by Riverside County (830,669), and San Bernardino County (814,248). On the other hand, the three counties with low hispanic or latino voting-age population were: Alpine County (62), Sierra County (254), and Trinity County (684).
