According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population, of people of all racial backgrounds in North Carolina who identified as hispanic or latino was 724,311; and represented 8.88% of the total North Carolina voting-age population.

Mecklenburg County had the highest hispanic or latino voting-age population (113,979), followed by Wake County (84,197), and Forsyth County (34,063). On the other hand, the three counties with low hispanic or latino voting-age population were: Gates County (117), Graham County (133), and Tyrrell County (150).
