According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among the 5.45M of Maryland's Non-Hispanic (not hispanic or latino) population, 53.49% (2.91M people) identified their race as White Alone, 32.95% (1.80M people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 7.67% (417.96K people) identified their race as Asian Alone.
