According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 16,253,217 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as Non-Hispanic (not hispanic or latino) in New York, which was 80.46% of the total population of New York.

Kings County had the highest number of of people who identified as non-hispanic (2.22M), followed by Queens County (1.74M), and New York County (1.29M). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as non-hispanic were: Hamilton County (5.01K), Schuyler County (17.57K), and Yates County (24.10K).
