According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among New York population of 20,201,249 people, 52.47% (10,598,907) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, 13.66% (2,759,022) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, and 9.97% (2,013,526) identified their ethnicity as Hispanic - Some Other Race Alone.
