According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among North Carolina population of 10,439,388 people, 62.15% (6,488,459) identified their race as White Alone, 20.50% (2,140,217) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 6.82% (711,721) identified their race as Two Or More Races.
