According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Tennessee population of 6,910,840 people, 72.22% (4,990,938) identified their race as White Alone, 15.82% (1,092,948) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 5.98% (412,898) identified their race as Two Or More Races.
