According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 31,052 people in Pennsylvania who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 0.24% of the total population of Pennsylvania. Philadelphia County had the highest number of people who identify as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (6,212), followed by Berks County (2,252), and Allegheny County (1,909). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone were: Sullivan County (9), Forest County (9), and Cameron County (9).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Berks County had the highest percentage, with 0.53% of its population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Lehigh County (0.40%), and Monroe County (0.40%).
