Alaska Asian Alone Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 44,032 people in Alaska who identified their race as Asian Alone, which is 6.00% of the total population of Alaska. Anchorage Municipality had the highest number of people who identify as Asian Alone (27,646), followed by Fairbanks North Star Borough (3,104), and Kodiak Island Borough (2,803). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Asian Alone were: Bristol Bay Borough (5), Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area (8), and Lake and Peninsula Borough (9).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Aleutians West Census Area had the highest percentage, with 28.92% of its population identifying their race as Asian Alone, followed by Aleutians East Borough (22.54%), and Kodiak Island Borough (21.40%).
