Alaska Some Other Race Alone Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 18,272 people in Alaska who identified their race as Some Other Race Alone, which is 2.49% of the total population of Alaska. Anchorage Municipality had the highest number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone (10,115), followed by Fairbanks North Star Borough (2,237), and Matanuska-Susitna Borough (1,717). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone were: Lake and Peninsula Borough (0), Yakutat City and Borough (3), and Denali Borough (8).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Aleutians East Borough had the highest percentage, with 18.30% of its population identifying their race as Some Other Race Alone, followed by Aleutians West Census Area (8.64%), and Anchorage Municipality (3.47%).
