According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 221,851 people in Michigan who identified their race as Some Other Race Alone, which is 2.20% of the total population of Michigan. Wayne County had the highest number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone (52,972), followed by Kent County (37,268), and Oakland County (22,479). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone were: Schoolcraft County (9), Ontonagon County (10), and Keweenaw County (14).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Oceana County had the highest percentage, with 6.33% of its population identifying their race as Some Other Race Alone, followed by Van Buren County (5.82%), and Kent County (5.66%).
