According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 617,390 people in North Carolina who identified their race as Some Other Race Alone, which is 5.91% of the total population of North Carolina. Mecklenburg County had the highest number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone (97,581), followed by Wake County (68,297), and Forsyth County (32,196). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone were: Gates County (87), Graham County (97), and Camden County (122).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Duplin County had the highest percentage, with 14.80% of its population identifying their race as Some Other Race Alone, followed by Sampson County (14.40%), and Lee County (11.72%).
