According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 4,896,037 people in Massachusetts who identified their race as White Alone, which is 69.65% of the total population of Massachusetts. Middlesex County had the highest number of people who identify as White Alone (1,112,445), followed by Worcester County (634,240), and Essex County (558,325). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as White Alone were: Nantucket County (10,159), Dukes County (16,321), and Franklin County (62,398).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Franklin County had the highest percentage, with 87.85% of its population identifying their race as White Alone, followed by Berkshire County (85.92%), and Barnstable County (85.79%).
