According to the data from the US 2020 Census, as at April 2020, among all Idaho cities and places, Rexburg city had the highest population density per square mile (3.92K people per sqr mile), followed by Moscow city (3.68K people per sqr mile), and Coeur d'Alene city (3.39K people per sqr mile).

On the other hand, Lost River city had the lowest population density per square mile (5.05 people per sqr mile), followed by Warm River city (6.02 people per sqr mile), and Banks CDP (9.96 people per sqr mile).
