Ranking of US States By Population Density from Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 Census, in April 2020, among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest population density per square mile (11,280.68 people per sqr mile), followed by New Jersey (1,262.99 people per sqr mile), and Rhode Island (1,061.41 people per sqr mile).
On the other hand, Alaska had the lowest population density per square mile (1.28 people per sqr mile), followed by Wyoming (5.94 people per sqr mile), and Montana (7.45 people per sqr mile).
