According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for New Jersey counties, in April 2020, among all of New Jersey's cities and places with a voting-age population of at least 10K, East Orange city had the highest percentage of its voting-age population that identified their race as Black or African American Alone (80.45%), followed by Roselle borough (49.24%), and Newark city (48.84%).
