According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for Michigan counties, in April 2020, among all Michigan counties, Mackinac County had the highest percentage of its population that identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (15.68%), followed by Chippewa County (15.41%), and Baraga County (13.45%).
