According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for North Carolina counties, in April 2020, among all North Carolina counties, Robeson County had the highest percentage of its population that identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (38.51%), followed by Swain County (29.55%), and Scotland County (10.96%).
