According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among the 50 states and the District of Columbia, Alaska had the highest percentage of a state's population who identified as Non-Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (14.84%), followed by New Mexico (8.91%), and South Dakota (8.41%).
