According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among the 50 states and the District of Columbia, West Virginia had the highest percentage of a state's population who identified as Non-Hispanic (not hispanic or latino) (98.06%), followed by Maine (98.05%), and Vermont (97.59%).
