According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the total Voting-age population (18 years and over) of Virginia was 6,745,054, which was 78.15% of the total Virginia population.

Fairfax County had the highest voting-age population (882,106), followed by Virginia Beach city (358,086), and then Prince William County (353,402). On the other hand, the 3 counties with low voting-age population were: Highland County (1,903), Norton city (2,895), and Bath County (3,512).
