According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Chesapeake City, VA population of 189,288 people, 56.72% of them (107,365 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, 28.62% of them (54,165 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, and 4.25% of them (8,048 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Two Or More Races.
