According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Maryland voting-age population of 4,815,202 people, 49.87% of them (2,401,360 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, 28.84% of them (1,388,741 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, and 6.91% of them (332,666 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone.
