According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Chippewa, MI voting-age population of 29,926 people, 70.29% of them (21,036 people) identified their race as White Alone, 13.09% of them (3,916 people) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, and 8.57% of them (2,566 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone.
