According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Beaufort County, NC voting-age population of 36,005 people, 69.85% of them (25,150 people) identified their race as White Alone, 22.20% of them (7,993 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 4.11% of them (1,479 people) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone.
