According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Chowan County, NC voting-age population of 11,114 people, 63.18% of them (7,022 people) identified their race as White Alone, 31.03% of them (3,449 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 3.39% of them (377 people) identified their race as Two Or More Races.
