According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Vance County, NC voting-age population of 32,871 people, 48.72% of them (16,015 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, 42.38% of them (13,932 people) identified their race as White Alone, and 4.80% of them (1,578 people) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone.
