According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Haakon County, SD voting-age population of 1,449 people, 93.65% of them (1,357 people) identified their race as White Alone, 3.38% of them (49 people) identified their race as Two Or More Races, and 1.52% of them (22 people) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone.
