According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Charlottesville City, VA voting-age population of 38,880 people, 67.73% of them (26,334 people) identified their race as White Alone, 14.14% of them (5,498 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 9.09% of them (3,535 people) identified their race as Asian Alone.
