According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Russell County, VA voting-age population of 20,830 people, 96.69% of them (20,140 people) identified their race as White Alone, 1.94% of them (404 people) identified their race as Two Or More Races, and 0.93% of them (194 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone.
