According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Monongalia County, WV voting-age population of 88,063 people, 86.18% of them (75,891 people) identified their race as White Alone, 5.17% of them (4,552 people) identified their race as Two Or More Races, and 3.92% of them (3,448 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone.
